The DPI software is intended to operate using anonymized or de-identified data. It is not designed for the direct handling of protected health information (PHI) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and it is not a HIPAA-covered entity or Business Associate.
Data is stored locally by DPI, but if AI analysis features are enabled, input data may be transmitted to external AI providers such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI or OpenAI LLC. Microsoft Azure offers a HIPAA-eligible service configuration and is recommended for users handling regulated health data. Even so, by proceeding, the user acknowledges this transmission and assumes full responsibility for any sensitive or protected information submitted during AI-powered analysis.
By proceeding, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the nature of the data you input and that DPI is not intended for clinical or regulated use without proper safeguards. DPI is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not claim HIPAA compliance.
The DPI software is licensed, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use DPI for personal use.
DPI is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. No guarantee is made regarding the accuracy of its outputs, the stability of its features, or the reliability of its assessments. The developers disclaim any liability for loss, injury, or damages arising from its use.
DPI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. It is a research and organizational tool designed to help you understand medical information. Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions.
This license does not permit reverse engineering, redistribution, or commercial deployment. All intellectual property remains the property of the developers.
By continuing, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are using DPI at your own risk.
